About My Approach
You might feel stuck when challenges arise and there isn’t a clear path ahead. Therapy can help you figure out where you want to go, navigate through struggles, and take steps forward. I’ll provide a compassionate space for you to gain clarity, reduce stress, and grow.
I work with adults who are experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and those who are facing difficult decisions and life transitions.
I’m sincerely interested in you, I recognize that you are a multi-dimensional person, and I consider your uniqueness in tailoring our work together.
Therapy is an interactive process between us. Together, we’ll untangle unhelpful thought patterns, their underpinnings, and the difficult feelings and reactions they set into motion. We will look at your strengths and discover practical coping strategies. My aim is to support you in developing compassion and flexibility in the way you relate to yourself, others, and the situations that bring you to therapy. My approach is collaborative, warm, and non judgmental.
I understand and appreciate the unique needs of caregivers. My background includes working with caregivers of all ages as they honor ambiguous grief and loss, manage stress, navigate complicated decisions, and take care of themselves.
About me
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts and my Masters degree is in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco.
I am also a Certified Mindfulness-Informed practitioner; my training and personal mindfulness practice help support this approach. In therapy, I blend various evidence-based therapeutic orientations including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused, and person-centered along with mindfulness-oriented therapy. An eclectic approach allows me to tailor therapy to meet your unique needs.
